I have to agree with the other person who gave a one star review. I saw a lot of good reviews but my care at the OMFS Dept. @ WC was a waste of time. Staff at the front desk and billing are inept and unpleasant and it makes the whole experience for someone in pain with a complex issue a severe, distressing disappointment. It was verified that Dr. Reeve accepted my insurance and then I was told the residents there had to evaluate me. My insurance verified that the department accepts my insurance but the front desk said only residents evaluate patients or I'd be billed to see her. I made 3 visits to the hospital and specifically requested her the last time, fully intending to pay if needed. She was present that day and I was once again given a resident who sent me home with a prescription for mouthwash. Really? Then I received a bill for $464 which stated she provided me services. I've not had a consult with her and have to now waste time to dispute the bill when getting through on the phone to the office is ridiculously difficult. The department personnel, at least for the last several months, has been just plain inept. I thought WC had higher standards than this.

I want to address the fact that for close to two weeks we were unsuccessful in getting an appointment because of the lack of communication, knowledge and help from the staff. We tried countless times via phone calls and emails to get scans to Dr. Gwendolyn Reeve with no prevail. I have never encountered such unprofessionalism and lack of compassion. Please hold your staff accountable for lack of healthcare.

Dr. Reeve is a friendly, attentive, consummate professional knowledgeable and skilled in oral surgery. She is highly respected by her patients, colleagues and interns. She just might be the hardest working physician I have ever known. I am fortunate to be her patient.

Dr. Reeves took the time to talk with me about my case and explain in detail my particular situation. She was patient, kind and attentive to any questions I had, and from my discussion with her I feel very comfortable that she has a very high level of skill and professionalism. I had my visit on video and all worked seamlessly for a good and thorough appt.

Dr Reeve was incredibly thorough, professional and informative during my visits in her office prior to surgery. She engaged with me extensively to ensure we were aligned on the goal, approach and what my experience would be like. I went into the procedure with complete confidence in Dr Reeve’s ability to bring a positive outcome and the surgery result could not be any better. Thank you to Dr Reeve and her team for their patience and kindness, which meant as much to me as the success of the surgery.
